Three District VIII Awards Honor Orchard Park Garden Club’s Community Work
The Orchard Park Garden Club came home with three awards from the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State, District VIII Luncheon on April 9, 2026, each recognizing a different facet of the club’s community work.
Spring 2026
The club received the Garden Therapy Award for its involvement with Fox Run residents, bringing creative and hands-on activities that uplift, connect, and enrich lives. The Historic Preservation Award recognized the club’s holiday decorating at the Jolls House, a project that brought seasonal beauty to a treasured local landmark. The Landscape Design Award honored the flower garden at the Village intersection, which helps create a welcoming and vibrant focal point in Orchard Park.
These awards reflect the many ways garden club work reaches beyond flowers alone. It can preserve local history, brighten public spaces, encourage community pride, and create opportunities for people to work together in meaningful ways.
We are grateful to all the members whose work helped make these projects possible. Their dedication continues to make a visible difference in our community and in the experiences of those who live here and visit Orchard Park.
We invite you to explore some of the other projects and activities our club has been involved in by visiting our Programs page. If you are interested in contributing to the community and being part of these efforts, we would be delighted to welcome you.
